“Re-Elect me and let’s keep going together!”
– Heidi Kader, incumbent candidate for Wayzata School Board 2025
The mantra in our house was that education, diligence, and a little summer fishing are the keys to success in life. There was no place quite like home, so my husband and I chose Plymouth 18 years ago to build our family. We live with our three (rambunctious, funny, incredible) young men who attend Wayzata Schools.
I am a leader that will continue working my tail off for you. I’m not just saying that – you all know that leadership matters and I take that to heart. I leaned in quite heavily over the past years because I am committed to understanding the system and how to impact progress and change where needed. I have my feet under me, and I’ve become very good at this role. I’m proud of how I lead – with heart, honesty, and putting what’s best for our kids first with every single decision – even on the days when it is unpopular and hard. I listen to every voice with an open mind so that the best ideas emerge. The landscape is getting tough with partisanship creeping in, but I am firm on the fact that nonpartisanship is the best way to do this work and it’s been our secret sauce for decades. It is foundational to a public education because there has to be space for everyone, every day.
Your concerns and priorities will continue to be at the forefront of decisions being made by the district if I’m there. AND – I won’t stop until we have a solution.
Over the course of my term, I’ve achieved increased levels of leadership
